Q1: What is the 3D Secure Verified by Visa service?

It’s an added layer of security for online transactions made with ABL Visa Debit Cards. A 6-digit OTP is sent to your registered mobile/email, which must be entered to complete transactions on Verified by Visa merchant websites.

Q2: How do I register for this service?

No registration is required. All Allied Bank Visa Debit Cards are already enrolled by default.

Q3: How do I use my ABL Visa Debit Card for online shopping?

  1. Enter your card details at checkout on a Verified by Visa merchant website.

  2. Select your preferred OTP delivery method.

  3. Enter the 6-digit OTP received via SMS or email to authorize the transaction.

Q4: Can I deactivate this service?

Yes. Log in to myABL or call 042-111-225-225 to disable your card for online usage.

Q5: How do I reactivate my card for online shopping?

Use myABL Digital Banking or call Allied Phone Banking to re-enable your card.

Q6: Will online access continue after card renewal or replacement?

Yes. If previously enabled, online shopping remains active on the new card.

Q7: How long is the OTP valid?

The OTP is valid for 5 minutes. You can request a new OTP via the payment page link.

Q8: Will I always receive an OTP?

Yes, for Verified by Visa merchants. Some non-compliant websites may not trigger OTP authentication.

Q9: What should I do if I don’t receive the OTP?

Click the link to resend the OTP. If your contact details are outdated, please visit your branch to update them.

Q10: What if I receive an OTP for a transaction I didn’t initiate?

Do not share the OTP. Immediately contact Allied Phone Banking at 042-111-225-225.

Q11: What if I am charged for an unauthorized transaction?

Call 042-111-225-225 or visit your nearest branch to file a dispute.

Q12: Will I receive a confirmation after a successful transaction?

Yes. You will see a confirmation message on the merchant’s page and receive SMS/email alerts.

Q13: Are there any charges for using this service?

Currently, there are no charges for enabling online shopping. Please refer to the Schedule of Charges for applicable international transaction fees.
