It is responsible for maintaining and augmenting the Bank’s asset portfolio which primarily includes corporate & institutional lending along with provision of other ancillary services to its corporate clientele including Corporate Finance Products, Commodity Financing, Project Financing, Corporate Advisory, Cash Management, Remittances, Trade Financing etc.

The group has played a leading role in the economic development of the country as it has been instrumental in financing of a large number of projects of national importance and is considered one of the leading players in the Pakistani market when it comes to corporate lending. Its pre eminence in the local banking environment can be gauged from the numerous local and international awards received by its Investment Banking Division.

Also, based on the sheer number of completed transactions, the Corporate and Investment Banking group continues to lead the industry league table whilst enhancing the Bank’s footprint internationally. As a first step, it is targeting the lucrative GCC region.
