Allied Bank Limited, Islamic Banking Group and Risk Management Group arranged an interactive seminar for the business community at Faisalabad. Prof . Wasif M. Khan and Mufti Ehsan Waqar were the speakers at the program.
There was an over whelming response from the business community of Faisalabad at the event with a demand to have more sessions of similar nature in future as well ; as these seminars not just create an awareness but also result in answering many unanswered queries .
During the first session of program, Prof. Wasif M. Khan spoke about “Managing Growing Family Firms “. Prof . Wasif M. Khan shared the concepts and ideas for understanding and managing growth in family firms .He also envisaged how Banks can support towards this growth and its stability.
In the second session of the seminar, Mufti Ehsan Waqar discussed in detailed about “Islamic Banking and Finance “. The session was extensive and detailed followed by a very interactive questions and answer session by the guests. He expressed his optimism towards Islamic Banking. He appreciated how Banks are geared up to provide Shariah complaint banking solutions to its valued customers.
In the end the business community thanked Allied Bank Limited for taking this initiative. Mr. Muhammad Idrees, Chief – Islamic Banking Group and Mr. Shahzad Sadiq , Chief – Risk Management Group were also present on the occasion.
